Traditional Phone PBX vs. VOIP Phone
Traditional PBX (Private Branch Exchange) phone systems are a private network. The users share a number of outside PBX connects the internal telephones within a business and connects them to the public switched telephone network. There are PBX, Hosted/Virtual PBX, Hosted/Virtual IP PBX and IP PBX phone systems. However, the latest phone system technology is the VOIP (voice over internet protocol). The VOIP phone system converts regular telephone calls into digital daa delivering the voice communications over the internet or a packet-switched network. It uses the internet to make calls. Also, using the VOIP system is cheaper, more convenient and portable than the traditional phone system.
